What is Lobby Days?
FAMP Lobby Days is our annual opportunity for members and leadership to come together at the Florida State Capitol to make our voices heard. During this two-day event, we meet directly with state and local legislators to discuss issues that impact mortgage professionals, homeowners, and the housing industry as a whole. Through these conversations, we help shape key initiatives such as Condo Reform and the Hometown Heroes program, advocate for pro-industry policies, and strengthen relationships with policymakers. Lobby Days is at the heart of FAMP’s year-round advocacy—driving meaningful change and protecting the interests of our members and the clients they serve.
FAMP’s advocacy efforts ensure that the voices of mortgage professionals are heard at every level of government. Through ongoing engagement with lawmakers, strategic political contributions, and the work of our full-time lobbyist, we champion policies that protect homeowners and strengthen the mortgage industry. Our PAC and Government Affairs Committees work year-round to monitor legislative developments, support pro-industry candidates, and advance initiatives that matter most to our members which includes key reforms like Condo Reform and the Hometown Heroes program.
