FAMP has completed extensive research and discussion regarding Amendment 3, the proposed Florida property tax reform measure, and has chosen to support it. We believe it has the potential to provide property tax relief and help improve housing affordability for Florida families. As a constitutional amendment, it will require at least 60% voter approval to pass. Florida Realtors has also voiced its support.

Our advocacy efforts continue beyond Amendment 3. The Government Affairs Committee is prioritizing homeowners insurance reform and beginning discussions with House members and State Senators regarding legislative priorities for the 2026 and 2027 sessions. FAMP remains committed to advocating for housing affordability, homeownership opportunities, and policies that benefit Florida consumers. We will continue to keep our members informed as these efforts progress.
